Niamh Rex Craw, Research Assistant
I completed my Bachelors of Medical Science at the University of New South Wales, which was then followed by my Bachelors of Science Honours (1st class) completed at the Children’s Cancer Institute Australia in 2021. My honours project focused on a potential treatment strategy for Acute Myeloid Leukaemia using ferroptosis to induce the internal self-destruction pathway via GADD45a and beta-catenin in cancer stem cells. My interests primarily lie in biochemistry and genetics. I joined the James Lab as a research assistant in 2022 where I have been assisting on multiple projects across the team
